Hypnotherapy
After 25 years working as a clinical psychologist across the range of health and wellbeing services, I decided to explore hypnotherapy. I already had good outcomes with clients, but felt that hypnotherapy might add even more value. I trained at the Prestigious UK College of Hypnotherapy and the results blew my mind! I found hypnotherapy made treatment QUICKER and more effective. I now use hypnotherapy in almost all my work, and use self-hypnosis extremely regularly to improve my own health and wellbeing and achieve my goals. Since gaining my Diploma I have worked for the college as a trainer & supervisor, and am a member of their Senior Leadership Board.
What exactly is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a powerful, natural process that helps you access a deeply relaxed, focused state of mind -often described as a trance-like state. In this state, your mind becomes more open to positive suggestions, vivid mental imagery, and meaningful change.

Guided by a trained and qualified hypnotherapist, you can tap into your inner resources to:

-
Overcome fears and limiting beliefs
-
Boost confidence and self-esteem
-
Improve health and wellbeing
-
Achieve personal and professional goals
-
Enter “flow states” for peak performance in sport and life.

How does hypnosis work?
Hypnosis uses focused attention and natural suggestibility to help shift unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and emotional responses. These processes are active in all of us, every day - but most of the time, they run in the background, outside our control.

We often find ourselves stuck in patterns like:
-
“I’m not good enough.”
-
“This is just too hard.”
-
Sudden feelings of dread, overwhelm, or self-doubt.
These thoughts and emotions can feel automatic - and true - even when they’re not. Over time, they shape how we think, feel, and act, often limiting our potential.

Hypnosis helps change that. It’s a structured and intentional way to take back control of your mental and emotional patterns - so your mind works for you, not against you.
Why Choose Hypnosis?
Because it works with the way your mind already operates, hypnosis can be a fast, effective tool for change. Whether you're looking for relief, clarity, motivation, or performance enhancement, hypnosis helps you access the part of your mind that’s capable of deep, lasting transformation.
